| June 26th, 1986 was even hotter and in the air-sealed garage things got sweaty. (You can hear Margo's lips sticking together as she tries to eke
out the words to Crossroads.) We played slow and intense while Peter paced
around in the kitchen (cables were run outside connecting us) holding up
his end of the project with characteristic perfectionism. Things clicked.
We were all happy with the day's work and decided to barbecue in the
90-degree heat. We laid down about a dozen songs in six or seven hours and
here they were, sitting digitally on a videotape, all mixed, done.
